“Authentication Failed” error when connecting to Universal Type Server 4 on Windows using Universal Type Client 4 on Mac OS X

Description

When I connect to Universal Type Server 4 on Windows with Universal Type Client 4.0 for Mac OS X, authentication fails for directory users but not for local UTS user accounts. Universal Type Client 4.0 on Windows does not have this problem.
