Description
When opening Suitcase Fusion 5, it fails to launch and the following error message is displayed:
“There has been a serious error detected with your Suitcase Fusion font vault. Please contact technical support for assistance.”
Solution
This error message means that there are problems with your current font vault and a new one needs to be created.
To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
- Open Windows Task Manager (Control + Alt + Delete)
- Choose > the Processes tab
- Locate “FMCore.exe” and click the “End Process” button
- Remove the following files:
NOTE: AppData/Application Data is a hidden folder. In order to view it, choose Start > Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab and check “Show hidden files and folders.”
