I noticed that the Master Keywords list only has one Keyword in it after I create a catalog from a custom Catalog Type in Portfolio Desktop Client 11.0.2.
Solution
Portfolio Desktop Client creates the custom Catalog Type template properly, but when a new catalog is created from it, only the last item in the Master Keywords list shows up.
In the meantime, here’s a workaround:
Export the master keywords list from the source catalog and import the list into the newly-created catalog.
- Open the catalog that was used to create the custom Catalog Type in Portfolio Desktop Client.
- Go to Catalog > Administration… and click the Keywording tab.
- Click “Export…” and enter a file name for the exported list, then click “Save”.
- Open the new catalog in the desktop client and go to Catalog > Administration… then click the Keywording tab..
- Click “Import…” and select the file of exported keywords, then click Open.
