Deleting the Mobile Uploads catalog from Portfolio Server

I created a Mobile Uploads catalog, but would like to delete it now. How do I do that?

Solution

Here’s how to delete the Mobile Uploads catalog:

1. Log into Portfolio Server Administration
2. Click on Catalogs in the left column
3. Select the Mobile Uploads catalog and click on “Delete Catalog”, then confirm that you want to delete it
4. Click on Status in the left column
5. Click on “Restart Portfolio Server”

NOTE: Deleting the Mobile Uploads catalog does not delete the folder that’s been configured for mobile uploads. If you want to get rid of it, go to the Mobile settings to find out the location on the server, then delete it in Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac).
