Description
Sometimes when I open documents in Adobe Illustrator CS5, CS5.5, or CS6 some of the text reflows. If I disable the Universal Type Client auto-activation plugin the issue goes away.
Solution
This issue was addressed for Illustrator CS5 and CS5.5 in Universal Type Client 3.3.1. You can get this update by clicking here.
Extensis was unable to address the issue in Illustrator CS6 due to a bug in the application. We have reported this to Adobe’s development team who have logged this as bug 3550282
We will update this article once the issue has been addressed.
